Biography
"I AM NOT FROM NASHVILLE....I AM NOT FROM NASHVILLE!! I'M FROM ARIZONA. Harry Luge is the ever-consummate singer/songwriter with deep and proud roots in the Arizona desert. He's a well-known performer from the "Country Thunder" Festival circuit from Southwest to Midwest. He's experienced beyond his 32 years and his non-stop creative personality translates to high energy live performances on some of the largest stages in the Country Music industry. A native of Queen Creek, Arizona, Harry worked in the family business, a large part of which was a local club called "Roosters"; a name synonymous with Harry Luge and his father and grandfather before him. In his recently released song "Rooster", it's still deeply clear that while he's completely at ease on the big stage with top acts, there's still no place like home. This is Harry Luge and what he brings to Country Music. A genuine storyteller that literally can shake songs out of his sleeve (with some real "believe it or not" moments in his life and music); truth, life and the "hook". After producing three CD's in his twenties and paving countless mile on tour throughout the USA and Canada, Harry is digging down to his roots of writing for the simple purpose of letting the songs write themselves. As the world grows increasingly complex and people are more divided than ever, Harry's music is most relevant when one hears a simplicity that transcends the transient, reaches across political lines and reaches deep inside each listener with stories relating to family, sense of place, personal growth and everyday life. As a result, Harry's popularity is a well developed institution throughout Arizona. The best written biography can only begin to tell a person's true story. What's most interesting about Harry Luge is knowing Harry Luge. He makes it a point to be personal, make friends, and share his deep, authentic enthusiasm for people and music. Part of Harry is his music; another, his stage show; yet your experience is only complete when you've come to know him personally- and he is perhaps the most accessible artist in the business today. Today, Harry Luge has a new, youthful band built from the top talent in Arizona. His versatility is demonstrated daily in his management of the family business, performing his music and his band, being a husband and father, and producing his fourth CD. With long-time friend and guitarist Donny Grubb, Harry spends nearly every free moment in the "Panic Room" (his nearly secret studio at the heart of "Roosters"-formerly his grandfather's office) writing, recording, plotting, planning and sharing moments that has developed into what they call Arizona's "own" country music. Harry is as driven as he is clever; as musical as he is professional. Like the best of country music, he's had good and bad times, but continues to grow and share his stories with each new day. Harry will stop at nothing to reach the deepest emotion of each listener, to share warmth in each hand he shakes. Get to know Harry Luge!
